Traffic restrictions

The Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, G Sudheer Babu, issued the notification under section 21 clause (1) & (b) of the Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 Fasli.

He emphasised, ā€œThe diversions are aimed at preventing traffic congestion and ensuring public safety during the event.ā€ The restrictions apply to all heavy vehicles, including lorries, dumpers, earthmovers, water tankers and RMC trucks.

The key routes affected by these diversions are:

The public is advised to take note of these traffic diversions and plan their movements accordingly. ā€œWe request all citizens to cooperate with the Rachakonda Traffic Police and follow the suggested routes to avoid inconvenience,ā€ added the Commissioner of Police.

The traffic diversions are expected to help manage the large crowds attending the match and reduce potential traffic disruptions in the Uppal area.

Citizens travelling through the Uppal region on October 12 are advised to follow these diversion routes and timings to avoid delays. Further updates on traffic will be provided by the Rachakonda Police Department as needed.

Commissioner Sudheer Babu emphasised, ā€œOur aim is to ensure that both cricket fans and local residents can move about safely and efficiently during the event.ā€
