Traffic restrictions on Pipe Line Road, Jeedimetla, for bridge construction

Hyderabad: In view of the ongoing steel bridge construction work on Pipe Line Road, Jeedimetla, police have imposed traffic restrictions and diversions for public safety and smooth traffic flow.

To facilitate the seamless flow of traffic, congestion is expected at the following routes till the completion of work, which started on November 3.

The traffic advisory will be applicable to the following routes:

- The traffic coming from Gajularamaram, Shapur Nagar, Rangabhujanga towards Suchitra will be diverted at Sai Kanta Junction to Ayodya Nagar Junction (Quthbullapur (v)) to Suchitra. It will be present round the clock till the completion of work

- The traffic coming from Gajularamaram, Shapur Nagar, Rangabhujanga towards Kompally will be diverted at Sai Kanta Junction to Subash Nagar-Dulapally Industrial area to Kompally round the clock till the completion of work.

- Traffic from Mayuri Bar should turn towards Subhash Nagar last bus stop onto Pipe Line Road or take a right turn towards ILA to proceed towards Jeedimetla Road.

- Travellers are requested to choose Suchitra Road or Dhoolapally Village Road to travel to Jeedimetla Road Round till the completion of work

The following routes will be closed:

- Pipe Line Road is closed for all heavy vehicles at the Home lane shop (near Pista House) at the entry point of the road.

- The road is completely closed at Mayuri Bar T Jn towards Pipe Line, Jeedimetla Road. It is 200 meters from the proposed steel bridge site.

Instructions to commuters

• Please follow the signboards and instructions of the traffic personnel on duty.

• Expect delays and plan your travel accordingly.

• Use alternative routes where possible to avoid congestion.

Heavy vehicle restrictions

- Entry of heavy vehicles is restricted at Home lane shop (near Pista House) at the entry point of Pipe Line road towards Pipe Line, Jeedimetla Road.

- Entry of heavy vehicles is restricted from Godavari Homes towards Pipe Line, Jeedimetla.

All heavy vehicles are restricted from the Godavari Homes, at Home Lane shop (near Pista House), from 5 am to 11:50 pm.

Hence, the public is requested to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with the Traffic Police in ensuring free flow.
