Travel from Kukatpally to Hitech to get smoother, Kaithalapur ROB nearing completion

This project once completed will serve as a major link between Kukatpally and Hitec city. Also, this road will act as a parallel road to the road from Kukatpally to Hitec City and reduce traffic congestion at JNTU junction, Malaysian Township junction, Hitec City flyover, and Cyber Tower junction.

Travel from Kukatpally to Hitech  to get smoother, Kaithalapur ROB nearing completion

Hyderabad: The Kaithalapur road overbridge (ROB) is almost complete. Over 90% of the work has been completed and according to officials, it will be finished by 15 June. The project, jointly undertaken by the GHMC and the Railways, is being built at a cost of Rs. 83.06 crores.




This project once completed will serve as a major link between Kukatpally and Hitec city. Also, this road will act as a parallel road to the road from Kukatpally to Hitec City and reduce traffic congestion at JNTU junction, Malaysian Township junction, Hitec City flyover, and Cyber Tower junction.

On the completion of the ROB, traffic coming from Sanath Nagar, Bala Nagar, and Secunderabad will be diverted at Moosapet (via Khaithlapur). This will reduce the distance by 3.50 km and also reduce the traveling time by an hour.
