TS BJP chief Bandi Sanjay in trouble over 'provocative' padayatra hoarding

A police complaint has been filed against BJP Telangana president and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Union minister Kishan Reddy, and other BJP Leaders for putting up a hoarding showing a BJP flag flying atop the Charminar.

Hyderabad: A police complaint has been filed against BJP Telangana president and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Union minister Kishan Reddy, and other BJP Leaders for putting up a hoarding showing a BJP flag flying atop the Charminar.

The complaint was filed by Syed Abdahu Kashaf at the Abid Road police station.

Earlier, Mr. Abdahu Kashaf had shared the photo and tweeted, "Dear @CPHydCity, #BJP is trying to trigger Communal tension in Hyderbad. A picture of 400+ year old Masjid #Charminar with a BJP Flag on it was put at Abids,Hyd . It also have pictures of PM, HM, BJP MPs and other leaders."

Mr. Abdahu Kashaf said he spoke to the inspector of Abids police station and the DCP Central Zone who have promised to take action. "I have full faith on Hyderabad city police commissioner Anjani Kumar. He will take immediate action against the hate mongers who are trying to disturb the peaceful environment of the country," he said after filing the complaint.

Meanwhile, the Central Enforcement Cell, GHMC, has levied a fine of Rs. 5,000 against BJP general secretary. The CEC tweeted, "Whereas it is found that without the written permission of competent authority you have placed wall writings the articles mentioned below which form an inconvenience / obstruction / nuisance, which is an offense committed under the above mentioned Sections of GHMC Act."
