Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday predicted dry weather for Telangana for the next three days and said minimum temperatures will remain below 15°C in most districts and 10°C at isolated places.
North and west Telangana districts on Monday and north Telangana on Tuesday are likely to record minimum temperatures below 10°C, it said.
According to IMD, most zones in Hyderabad are likely to experience mainly clear skies, mist, or haze, especially during the morning hours.
“Decent respite from heat and increase in night chill expected in Telangana for the next 3 days. North Telangana will witness more chilly weather. Heat will be back shortly after Feb 17th,” tweeted Telangana Weatherman.
According to the IMD forecast, the westerlies, which formed a trough in the mid-tropospheric westerlies on Sunday at 5.8 km above mean sea level, moved east-northeastward on Monday, blowing mainly from the northeast direction towards Telangana state.
