TS EAMCET: Andhra students excel in Engineering, AM; S Anirudh, B Satya rank first
About 80% of students qualified in the Engineering stream and 86% were declared pass in the Agriculture stream in the TS EAMCET
By Newsmeter Network Published on 25 May 2023 8:15 AM GMTHyderabad: Andhra Pradesh students have excelled in both the Engineering and Agriculture and Medical (AM) streams in the TS EAMCET for which the results were declared today.
Sanapala Anirudh from Visakhapatnam topped the engineering stream, while Burugupalli Satya from East Godavari district secured the first rank in the AM stream.
About 80% of students qualified in the Engineering stream and 86% were declared pass in the Agriculture stream in the TS EAMCET.
The results were announced by Minister of Education, Sabitha Indra Reddy, on Thursday. More than 3 lakh students appeared for the entrance exam that was held from 10 May to 14 May.
In the agriculture stream, 84% of male students and 87% of female students qualified, while in the Engineering stream, 79% of male students and 82% of female students qualified.
Burugupalli Satya, Nasika Venkata Teja, Saphal Lakshmi Pasupulati, Durgempudi Karthikeya Reddy, and Bora Varun Chakravarthi topped the agriculture and medical disciplines.
In the engineering department, the top performers were Sanapala Anirudh, Yakkantipani Maneendhar Reddy, Challa Umesh Varun, Abhineet Majeti, and Ponnathota Pramod Kumar Reddy.
A total of 205351 students registered and 195,275 appeared for the engineering exam, while 115332 students registered and 106,514 appeared for the agricultural exam.
The counselling schedule will be released for successful candidates to choose their preferred courses and colleges based on their ranks and aspirations.
