TSRTC to launch 16 AC buses with high-tech facilities on March 27

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is all set to introduce 16 new AC sleeper buses with high-tech features for the first time in the state.

These new buses are designed to compete with private buses and provide a better and more comfortable travel experience to distant places. The buses are being launched under the name of 'Lahari-Ammavoḍi Anubhuti'.

Inauguration of New AC Sleeper Buses

The Managing Director of TSRTC, VC Sajjanar, took to Twitter to announce that the inauguration ceremony of the new AC sleeper buses is slated for March 27 at 9:30 am on the Vijayawada route in LB Nagar, Hyderabad.

The event will be graced by the Telangana Transport Minister, Puvvada Ajay Kumar, who will flag off the new buses as the chief guest. Other esteemed dignitaries, including the TSRTC Chairman, MLA Bajireddy Govardhan, and other high-ranking officials, are also expected to attend.

Features

-AC Sleeper buses are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and technology to ensure passengers a comfortable and safe travel experience.

-The 12-meter-long buses have a capacity of 30 berths with 15 lower and 15 upper berths.

-The buses are inbuilt with the latest technology and amenities, such as a water bottle facility, mobile charging points, reading lamps, and free Wi-Fi.

-The buses are equipped with LED display boards in the front and back to show the details of the destinations.

Safety Measures

The safety of the passengers has been prioritised in the new AC sleeper buses.

-The buses have tracking systems and panic button facilities connected to the TSRTC control room.

-Passengers can use the panic button for emergencies or problems, and the TSRTC control room will take necessary actions promptly.

-The buses also have security and reverse parking assistance cameras for safety measures.

-A Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS) has been installed in the buses, which immediately alerts the passengers and officials in case of a fire outbreak.

The TSRTC recently launched 630 super luxury buses, 8 non-AC sleeper cum seater buses, and 4 non-AC sleeper buses to provide better and quality services to the passengers.

With the launch of these new AC sleeper buses, the TSRTC aims to reach more people and provide them with a comfortable and safe travel experience.
