TSRTC super luxury buses launch: Here are traffic diversions for 24 Dec

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is all set to inaugurate its new super luxury buses at Upper Tank Bund in Hyderabad on Saturday. The Hyderabad traffic police have issued traffic restrictions which will be imposed on Saturday (24 December) from 12 p.m to 5 p.m.

Traffic diversions and restrictions will be made if required as per the local situation.

1. Traffic coming from Ranigunj towards Upper Tank Bund will not be allowed and will be diverted at Sailing Club towards Kavadiguda crossroads and DBR Mills.

2. Traffic coming from Liberty towards Upper Tank Bund will not be allowed and will be diverted at the Ambedkar statue towards Telugu Thalli, Iqbal Minar.

3. Traffic coming from Telugu Thalli towards Upper Tank Bund will not be allowed and will be diverted at the Ambedkar statue towards Liberty, Himayath Nagar.

4. Traffic coming from Musheerabad crossroads towards Upper Tank Bund will not be allowed and will be diverted at Kavadiguda crossroads towards Lower Tank Bund.

5. Traffic coming from DBR Mills towards Upper Tank Bund will not be allowed and will be diverted at DBR Mills towards Gosala–Kavadiguda–Jabbar Complex–Bible House.

6. Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar towards Upper Tank Bund will be diverted at Old Secretariat towards Telugu Talli flyover towards Lower Tank Bund.

Traffic congestion areas to be avoided:

Citizens are requested to avoid the following junctions where traffic congestion is expected: Upper Tank Bund, Ambedkar statue, Telugu Talli junction, Liberty, and VV statue.

Buses

Buses plying from Secunderabad towards Hyderabad on Upper Tank Bund are requested to avoid Upper Tank Bund and use Lower Tank Bund from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on 24 December.

All citizens are requested to take note of the diversions and traffic congestion points and take alternate routes to reach their destinations. The traffic diversions and road closures will be removed/opened after the conclusion of the programme.
