TVVP employees’ salaries to be brought on par with DPH, DME employees: Harish Rao

Hyderabad: Health Minister Harish Rao has assured TVVP employees that their salaries would be brought on par with those of DPH and DME employees.

Rao addressed the concerns of TVVP employees following their protest. The employees have requested various changes and improvements in their employment conditions, aligning them with the standards set by other health departments in the state. Minister Harish Rao acknowledged the employees' requests

Salary Parity:

The Minister assured TVVP employees that their salaries would be brought on par with those of DPH and DME employees, utilizing the 010 Head of Account through the Directorate of Treasuries and Accounts Department.

Repeal and Name Change:

The government is considering the repeal of TVVP and changing its name to "Director of Secondary Health Services" while elevating its status to that of DPHFW and DME, similar to what has been done in Andhra Pradesh.

Creation of DCHS Posts:

To ensure efficient healthcare services across the state, 33 DCHS posts will be created for all 33 districts, with fully staffed DCHS offices.

Cadre Strength Assurance:

Cadre strength will be ensured for all TVVP institutions operating with 30 and 50 beds, recently transferred from the Director of Public Health Services.

Promotions:

The government will implement GO ms. No. 317 and issue promotions to all eligible TVVP staff.

Regularization of Contract Employees:

The services of contract employees working in TVVP, appointed through DSC and Commissioner, TVVP selection committees, will be considered for regularization, adhering to notifications, Rules of Recruitment (ROR), and merit.

Minister Harish Rao assured to resolve these issues so that the healthcare sector in Telangana operates efficiently and equitably.
