Two children die of suffocation after getting locked inside car in Chevella

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, two young children died from suffocation after they accidentally got locked inside a parked car in Damergidda village of Chevella mandal, Ranga Reddy District.
The victims, identified as Tanmayashree (5), daughter of Kavali Venkatesh and Jyoti from Pamena village and Abhinayashree (4), daughter of Mahender and Umarani from Sitarampur village, had accompanied their families to attend the wedding of their uncle, Telugu Rambabu, which was scheduled to take place on April 30.
The incident occurred around 12:30 pm on Monday when the children, while playing, entered a parked car belonging to the family. Unnoticed by the family members, the car doors locked, trapping the children inside. The family assumed the children were playing nearby and didnāt immediately realise they were missing.
Panic ensued when the children couldnāt be located. After an intense search, the two were found unconscious inside the car at around 2 pm. Family members immediately broke open the lock and rushed them to the Chevella Government Hospital. Tragically, doctors declared both children dead on arrival due to suffocation.
The scene at the hospital turned emotional as grief-stricken parents and relatives broke down. Police have registered a case and begun an investigation into the matter.
