Hyderabad: A techie working with TCS at Gachibowli ended his life at his residence in Chandanagar on Monday

Identified as Jangman Anil Kumar, police suspect that took the extreme step because he was unable to endure the work pressure.

Hailing from Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, he was currently putting up at NDR Estates, Kailashnagar in Chandanagar along with his wife Jangam Jyothi and daughter Jaishna Malika.

Anil Kumar had been working with TCS for a very long time. Due to the pandemic situation, he was working from home. On Monday, his wife took their daughter to school. When she returned home at noon, she found him hanging.

She immediately brought him down with the assistance of neighbors and shifted to Medicover hospital for treatment, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Jyothi in her complaint to the police said that her husband took the extreme step as he was unable to bear the work pressure. Though he was working from home since the Covid outbreak, he was very depressed due to long working hours and continuous meetings, police said quoting his wife.

Police, however, did not find any suicide note on the spot.
