Union Minister Kishan Reddy formally takes charge as Telangana BJP chief
Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy said that the BRS is afraid of BJP

Before the event, he offered prayers at the Bhagyalakshmi Temple in Charminar, paid a visit to the Martyrsā Memorial, and offered garlands to the Ambedkar statue.
The BJP leadership entrusted the state reigns to Kishan Reddy for the fourth time because there was resistance against Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjayās leadership. Kishanās elevation was also meant to close the rifts among other aspirants. Kishan Reddy, a senior leader from BJP Telangana, is said to hold the party together with his seniority.
Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy said that the BRS is afraid of BJP. āNo one was ever stopped the way I was when I was on my way to check the BRS governmentās incomplete double bedrooms. Soon, we will give a call to the cadre and expand the protest.ā Kishan thanked the cadre and leaders for their support.
Applauding the cadre and their commitment, Bandi Sanjay, who was present at the event, said, āThe cadre and the party are more important than anyone." He said that although some people from the party complain about him, he never stopped because of the commitment of the party cadre.
Bandi thanked the Hindus by saying, āThe Hindu workers from Hyderabadās Old City and GHMC are heroes who have been fighting relentlessly for protecting the Bhagyalakshmi temple. He said that the Congress and BRS do namaz in front of the temple, but this will not be allowed under the BJP. He further said that the area should be known as Bhagyanagar, not Charminar.ā
BJP state election in-charge and Rajya Sabha member Prakash Javadekar, party state in-charge Tarun Chugh, Rajya Sabha member K Laxman, Huzurabad MLA Etela Rajender, Dubbaka MLA M Raghunandan Rao, MP Soyam Bapu Rao, Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind, former MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy and several senior leaders were also present at the event.
