Hyderabad: Around 23 small and medium-size plots at Uppal Bhagayat were e-auctioned on the first day.

It fetched a whopping Rs 141.61 crore for the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) on Thursday.

The highest bid was Rs 1.01 lakh per square yard against the upset price of Rs 35,000. The lowest bid was Rs 53,000. The average bid realized on the day was Rs 71,815 per square yard.

"The maximum bid received was Rs.1, 01,000 per square yard. The lowest bid stood at Rs. 53,000 per square yard and the average bid price for the day was Rs.71,815.5 per square yard. The total bidding amount for the day is Rs. 141.61 Crore," said HMDA in its statement.

On Thursday, 23 plots measuring 19719 square yards were put for e-auction. It ranged from 150 square yard plot to 1787 square yard plot. Each yard had an upset price of Rs.35,000.

About 12 plots were re-auctioned in the first session on Thursday, which fetched Rs 97.27 crore. The highest bid recorded was Rs 77,000 per square yard. The lowest bid was 53,000 per square yard. The average bid was Rs 67,145 per square yard.

In the second session, 11 plots were e-auctioned, fetching Rs 71.81 crore. The highest bid was Rs 1.01 lakh and the lowest bid was Rs 73,000. The total average bid was around Rs 84,744 per square yard

The remaining 21 plots will go under the hammer in two sessions from 9 am. The notified plots range from 150 square yards to 15,149 yards, with an upset price of Rs.35,000 per square yard.
