Hyderabad: Amid escalating tensions and the deteriorating security situation in the Middle East, the road in front of the US Consulate General Hyderabad in the Financial District, Nanakramguda, is blocked at both ends due to security reasons.
The suggested alternative routes:
1. From ICICI towards Gowlidoddi:
Take RIGHT at Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) Junction →
Take LEFT at Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) Junction →
Proceed straight towards Gowlidoddi.
2. From TNGO Junction towards Consulate Road:
Take LEFT at Kritunga Restaurant →
Enter Prism Road →
Take LEFT at Lemon Tree Hotel →
Proceed towards the Financial District.
Cyberabad Traffic Police has requested motorists to follow diversion boards and cooperate with traffic personnel. Plan your travel accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
Attack on US Consulate in Pakistan

According to AP, violent clashes between protesters and security forces in Pakistan’s southern port city of Karachi and in the country’s north left at least 22 people dead and more than 120 others injured as demonstrators supportive of the Iranian government attempted to storm a US Consulate on Sunday, authorities said.
Telangana opens 24/7 crisis helpline for citizens stranded in the Middle East conflict
The Telangana government has established a 24×7 Control Room at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to assist citizens from the state who may be stranded or in distress.
The decision to set up a dedicated helpline comes in the wake of numerous inquiries from worried family members in Telangana, as well as from citizens currently residing in conflict zones who are facing travel disruptions and other emergencies.
The Control Room will operate round-the-clock to coordinate with central agencies and extend immediate assistance. Citizens in distress or their families can contact the following officials:
