Vaccination at doorstep: Call 040-21111111 for mobile vans in GHMC areas

The vaccination drive will remain operational from 9 am to 4 pm. GHMC said that the vaccination is free for the 18 plus group.
GHMC officials have asked people to contact the helpline number 040-21111111 to track mobile vaccine vans.
Meanwhile, Telangana reported 482 new COVID cases on Wednesday taking the overall tally to 6,50,835 in the state.
Two new deaths were reported on August 11 taking the total tally to 3,833. The fatality rate in the state is 0.58 percent which is less than the national average of 1.3 percent.
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation areas reported 82 new cases, while Karimnagar reported 61 new cases. Warangal Urban reported 41 new cases, while Nalgonda reported 35 new cases.
Around 455 citizens recovered from the infection on Wednesday taking the tally of total recoveries to 6,38,865. The recovery rate, as per the government, now stands at 98.16 percent, which is approximately higher than the national average of 97.43 percent.
The government tested 88,164 citizens on Wednesday. So far 2,30,80,013 samples have been tested in the state. Samples tested per million population stand at 6,20,097. Still, 1,417 reports are awaited.
