Vanguard to open first India office in Hyderabad, hire 2,300 for AI and data jobs
Hyderabad: Vanguard, an international investment management company, on Monday, announced its decision to establish its first Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India in Hyderabad.
Vanguard said it will formally open its Hyderabad office later this year and will employ 2,300 members over the next four years.
As per Vanguard, the company operates under a unique investor-owned structure, manages global assets worth $10 trillion (approximately) and serves more than 50 million investors.
Vanguard to focus on AI and mobile engineering jobs for the Hyderabad campus
The senior delegation from the company, led by its CEO Salim Ramji, and CIO and MD of IT division, Nitin Tandon, chief human resources officer John Couture and principal, head of GCCāVanguard India, Venkatesh Natarajan, met the official āTelangana Risingā delegation led by chief minister A Revanth Reddy and top officials, including chief secretary Shanti Kumari.

During the discussions, Vanguard said it would immediately look to hire engineers with a special focus on Artificial Intelligence, Data and Analytics and mobile engineering at its Hyderabad facility.

Vanguard said it is committed to establishing an enduring technology centre in Hyderabad.
