Vice-President's visit to Hyderabad: Here are the traffic diversions for 20, 21 June

Hyderabad: In view of Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu's visit to Hyderabad on 20 June to attend the International Yoga Day celebrations on 21 June, the Cyberabad traffic police have made arrangements to ensure smooth traffic.

The yoga day event will take place at the Parade Ground in Secunderabad.

On 20 June, at about 6:10 p.m, the Vice-President will arrive at Begumpet airport and proceed to his residence at Road No. 29, Jubilee Hills, via the PNT flyover (under the flyover), Shyam Lal building, HPS Begumpet, Begumpet flyover, Panjagutta flyover, and the Jubilee Hills check-post.

On 21 June, at about 6:20 a.m, he will proceed to the Parade Ground from his residence via the Jubilee Hills check-post, Panjagutta flyover, Begumpet flyover, HPS Begumpet, Shyam Lal Building, PNT flyover, Prakash Nagar flyover, Rasoolpura, and CTO flyover. At 7:30 a.m, he will return to his residents along the same route.

The police have urged everyone to take note of the timings and plan their travel accordingly.

Here are the traffic diversions in the city for 21 June, from 6 a.m to 8 a.m:

· Traffic coming from Trimulgherry and Bowenpally towards Plaza will be diverted at Tivoli crossroads towards Upakar junction – YMCA – Clock Tower towards Secunderabad.

· Traffic coming from Begumpet and Paradise towards Trimulgherry will be diverted at Plaza towards SBH – YMCA - Upakar – JBS – Club in gate – Karkhana towards Trimulgherry.

· Traffic coming from RP Road towards JBS will be diverted at SBH towards YMCA – Upakar – JBS – Club in gate – Karkhana towards Trimulgherry.

Parking

The Cyberabad traffic police have also notified parking the details for the International Yoga Day celebrations at Parade Ground:

· Vehicles coming from Trimulgherry and Bowenpally side will be parked at Picket Cantonment Ground (Near JBS) after dropping the passengers at Sweekar Jnalighting point.

· Vehicles coming from the Begumpet side will be parked at East Gate inside the Parade Ground alighting point which is also the drop point.

· Vehicles coming from the Sangeeth side will be parked at East Gate inside the Parade Ground alighting point which is also the drop point.

· Vehicles coming from the RP Road side will be parked at East Gate inside the Parade Ground alighting point which is also the drop point.

The traffic police have requested people to take alternate routes to their destinations and to avoid the above routes during the specified timings.
