Video: Bandi Sanjay 'threatens encounter' to those who don’t say Bharat Mata Ki Jai

Adilabad: A video of BJP national general secretary and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay reportedly giving a hate speech in Adilabad has gone viral on social media.

On Tuesday, during a public meeting attended by home minister Amit Shah, Bandi Sanjay reportedly threatened violence against those who allegedly attacked Hindus in Bhainsa, even if they are minors. He also threatened to chase All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) supporters from the district.

“Those who don’t say ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and raise Pakistan flags should be encountered and buried,” he said in his speech.

Later, speaking at the meeting, Amit Shah said, “In the 10 years of his rule, Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao never worked for the poor but only concentrated on making his son KT Rama Rao the CM.”

Addressing a public rally, Shah alleged that the BRS government did not fulfil its poll promises including providing double bedroom housing for tribals. “KCR’s aim is only to make his son the CM. But the BJP’s aim is to ensure that every tribal of Adilabad gets education, jobs and water for agriculture,” Shah said.

“You have two choices,” he informed the crowd, “One is the KCR government which thinks only of KCR’s son and daughter and on the other is prime minister Narendra Modi who thinks of Dalits, the poor and the adivasis,” he said.

“Telangana needs a double engine government, which means the Modi government at the Centre as well as in the state,” he said. He exuded confidence that under the leadership of PM Modi, BJP will form the government in Telangana, after the November 30 Assembly polls.

Shah alleged that Telangana has become number one in farmers’ suicides and in crimes against women and children. He also repeated his charge that AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi is holding the ‘steering of KCR’s car’ – the car is the election symbol of the ruling BRS party.

“Do you want Telangana to run under the directions of Majlis,” Shah asked the public and appealed to them to dethrone the KCR government and elect a BJP government.
