Video: Neighbours attack brothers over complaint against goats in Rajendranagar

Hyderabad: A major fight broke out between neighbours due to an unexpected source of conflict —goats. Mohd Mustaq Ahmed, a resident of Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, shared a video of the disturbing events that unfolded between his family and their neighbours.

Mustaq, who works with luxury vehicles, can be seen saying in the video, “Our neighbours have 10-15 goats that climb on parked vehicles and scratch them. As the vehicles are not ours, we were concerned about the damages. So, we went and asked our neighbours to stop their goats from damaging the cars.”

Unfortunately, this led to an aggressive response from the neighbours, who started physically attacking Mustaq and his brother. He said, “Instead of understanding our concerns, they became aggressive. They launched a sudden and violent attack on me and my brother.”

In response to the assault, Mustaq promptly reported the incident to the Attapur police, seeking justice. The next day, the neighbours arrived, armed with talwars (swords) and ruthlessly attacked Mustaq and his brother for complaining against them.

“The violence that erupted during the incident caused severe injuries to my brother. He had to undergo 14 stitches on his head and 8 on the chest due to the brutal attack. In my attempt to protect him, I was also targeted by the attackers.”

Mustaq urged the Telangana police to take swift and decisive action against the perpetrators, emphasising the need for justice. Furthermore, Mustaq in the video, said, “You can even ask our neighbours about how they behaved.”
