Hyderabad: Videos of an obscene party organized by an AIMIM leader at his farmhouse on the eve of a relative's wedding on 13 February at Bandlaguda have gone viral on social media. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
It was found that drugs and alcohol was served to the guests at the party and women dancers and some transgenders were also hired to entertain the guests.
At least two videos of the party have gone viral. Based on the videos, the police launched a probe. Inquiries revealed that the farmhouse located at Lake View Hills is owned by Parvez who is associated with the AIMIM and is also an active member in the Chandrayangutta area.
He had organized the party for his friends. The Chandranayagutta police, under whose jurisdiction the farmhouse falls, said they have registered a case under Sections 294 and 109 of the IPC. They are collecting the details of the guests and dancers and trying to find out what took place during the party. They are also investigating the allegations of drugs being supplied to the guests.
It may be noted that in March 2021 the Rachakonda police busted a rave party at a farmhouse in Bhongir district and seized huge quantities of drugs, liquor, and DJ sound systems. Seven organizers, including the farmhouse owner, were arrested while more than 90 participants - all students and techies - were detained.
