Water supply to remain affected in Hyderabad parts from April 1

The areas which will be affected include Mir Alam Reservoir, Kishanbagh supplies under O&M Division-I, Aliabad Reservoir, Al Jubail Colony, Balapur Reservoir (partial supply) and surrounding areas.

Water supply to remain affected  in Hyderabad parts from April 1

Hyderabad: Water supply shall remain affected in several areas of the city for 24 hours from April 1.

This follows the alignment work on SRDP flyover in the city.

The areas which will be affected include Mir Alam Reservoir, Kishanbagh supplies under O&M Division-I, Aliabad Reservoir, Al Jubail Colony, Balapur Reservoir (partial supply) and surrounding areas.

Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) is taking up the junction work on 1200 mm dia MS main of KDWSP Phase-I of the Mir Alam Aliabad Offtake, for facilitating the construction of a proposed flyover.

The Offtake comes under the alignment of SRDP flyover from DLRL, Chandrayangutta to Kandikal gate X Road. The water supply will remain affected in certain areas on April 1 and April 2 to facilitate work on the pipeline.
