Hyderabad: Six days after the brutal murder of former MIM worker and rowdy sheeter Shaik Sayeed Bawazeer, Hyderabad cops arrested four accused including Jalpally Municipal Chairman, while two are absconding.
The accused have been identified as Jalpally Municipal Chairman Abdullah Saadi, his aides Ahmed Bin Hajeb, Ahmed Saadi, and Mohammed Ayub Khan. While, two other accused Saleh Saadi and Omer Saadi, are still absconding.
Investigation into the murder has revealed that the Jalpally Municipal Chairman used the 'partner' of Shaik Sayeed Bawazeer to eliminate him.’ The probe revealed personal rivalry between Shaik Sayeed Bawazeer and Abdullah Saadi.
Bawazeer was killed on the first floor of the Buftaim building, near Royal Sea Hotel Bandlaguda X Road, Hyderabad. Cops took up an investigation based on the complaint of Bawazeer’s father.

According to police records, Shaik Bawazeer is identified as a rowdy sheeter with a criminal history of 9 cases including 3 POCSO(The Protection of Children from Sexual Harassment) Act.

In 2021, while Bawazeer was in Chanchalguda jail, he met Ahmed Bin Hajeb in jail, who was also a rowdy sheeter and was involved in 6 cases. They became 'friends' which bloomed into a relationship. The duo reportedly turned intimate in the jail and the relationship continued even after they bailed out.
Later, Bawazeer, who was on bail, began to force his partner Ahmed Bin Hajeb to 'introduce' his friends. According to cops, Ahmed brought his friends to the Bawazeer for intimacy, however, it turned into a conflict.
The plot to kill Bawazeer was constructed when Municipal Chairman Abdullah Saadi and his aide Saleh Saadi, learnt of this relationship.
What led to the rivalry was Shaik Saeed Bawajir (30), a resident of Barkus, who used to be a dedicated MIM party worker. However, he left the party a few years back and started running a Facebook page with the name "Jo dikta wo boltou, jo boltou wo kartou" under the pseudonym Shaik Sayeed Bawazeer.On this platform, he discussed public issues in the Jalpally municipality and openly criticized Education Minister Sabitha Reddy, Jalpally Municipal Chairman Abdullah Saadi, and some others. He continued to criticize Jalpally Chairman for his failure in delivering civic works. No amount of 'understanding' worked out between Abdullah Saadi and Shaik Bawazeer.
Murder plot:
Months ago Ahmed's relative, Omer Saadi (who is absconding) introduced the accused to Ahmed Saadi, Abdullah Saadi, Saleh Saadi. Ahmed and Omer hatched a plan to kill the Bawazeer by offering a sum of Rs.13 lakhs to Ahmed. However the plot was, that the murder should not point fingers at Abdullah Saadi.
Ahmed procured a knife and took the support of Ayub to carry out the murder. They also threatened and forced the accused's cousin, Saud, to come with them to the Bawazeer's office on the pretext of introducing him to Bawazeer.
On August 10, Saud and Ayub went to Bawazeer's office on two motorbikes. On the way, the accused procured chilli powder, as well. When they arrived at the office, Saud went inside, while Ayub was waiting outside.
While Bawazeer and Saud were inside the office, the main accused Ahmed sprinkled chilli powder on Bawazeer. While he tried to defend himself, Ahmed stabbed him and fled from the scene.
Deputy Commissioner of Police- South Zone Ch Rupesh added, "The four have been arrested and efforts are on to arrest the other two accused in the murder case.
