Wings India 2022: Pratt and Whitman to set up India Capability Centre in Bangalore
Wings India 2022 – Asia’s largest event on civil aviation – from 24 to 27 March at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad

The announcement was made during the Wings India 2022 event being held at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad.
The company said the centre is expected to be fully operational by April 2022. They said that their aim is to create an integrated supply chain system in India. Sandeep Sharma, the managing director, India Operations, Pratt and Whitney, said, "The centre is expected to employ 150 employees, including some data analysts. We are looking at multi-skill and talent development."
The representatives from Pratt and Whitney also elaborated on their GTF engines and their seven decades of association with the Indian aviation industry.

The ministry of civil aviation (MOCA) and FICCI are jointly organising Wings India 2022 – Asia's largest event on civil aviation (commercial, general, and business aviation) – from 24 to 27 March at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad. The theme of the event is "India@75: New Horizon for Aviation Industry". Several foreign dignitaries, ambassadors, representatives from various sectors of aviation like airlines, airport operators, airports agencies, civil aviation authorities, etc. will take part in the event.
Aviation-related companies, institutions, and organisations that have created benchmarks and made notable contributions in the area of civil aviation will be conferred with Wings India Awards which will be organised on 25 March.
