WK Holdings to invest USD 5M in We Hub; USD 100M in Telangana in 5 years

Hyderabad: Walsh Karra Holdings Holdings has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to invest USD five million in WE Hub and USD 100 million in Telangana startups in the next five years.

The MoU was signed in New York in the presence of Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy, Minister of IT E&C, I&C, and LA, D. Sridhar Babu during their official visit to the US to explore new partnerships and investments for the state.




Sita Pallacholla, CEO, WE Hub; Phani Karra, and Greg Walsh, Co-Founders, Walsh Karra Holdings finalized the roadmap for USD 5 million investment for WE Hub. The road map for USD 100 million in the next five years for Telangana entrepreneurs was also formalized, the office of the Chief Minister said.

ā€œWomen entrepreneurship will liberate our society and unleash the truest potential of Telangana. No society can achieve its fullest potential without enabling and empowering women,ā€ the Chief Minister said.

Greg Walsh said, ā€œWith this initiative, over the next five years, WKH will also invest USD 100 million in start-ups incubating in the Telangana ecosystem, both WE Hub incubated start-ups and beyond, thus being a reliable partner in the growth story of both urban and rural Telangana.ā€

This investment by WKH will provide the much-needed timely impetus, catalyzing the growth of WE Hub alongside the growth of Women Entrepreneurs.

Speaking on the occasion, Sita Pallacholla said, ā€œI thank Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Minister Sridhar Babu Garu, and all officials, for their guidance. This investment will be used to design and deliver a flagship program of international standards to women entrepreneurs of India.ā€
