Woman allegedly assaulted by Ola Bike Rider in Hyderabad
During the ride, the rider allegedly began touching her inappropriately

Hyderabad: A woman has reportedly been assaulted by an Ola bike rider at Jubilee Hills. According to Jubilee hills police, the victim, whose identity has been kept confidential, had booked an Ola bike ride on Monday, at around 7:30 am from Manikonda.
During the ride, when the victim and the accused reached near Mehfil signal, the rider allegedly began touching her inappropriately, including frisking her inner thigh and running his hand on her leg. He also attempted to lift her dress. When she screamed, the rider ended the ride at Prashanth Nagar in Jubilee Hills and fled from the scene.
The victim filed a complaint with the Jubilee Hills police station. The police have registered a case under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code, which pertains to assault or criminal force against a woman with an intent to outrage her modesty. The investigation is currently ongoing, and the police are working to identify and apprehend the accused.
