Woman allegedly raped, murdered at Nanakramguda; Guv orders extensive probe
They are questioning the construction workers and others who may have been in the area at the time of the murder.

Hyderabad: A woman was allegedly raped and murdered in a construction company in Nanakramguda on Friday. ACP Madhapur P Srinivas said, āThe Clues team reached the spot as soon as we got information and started the investigation.ā
The police said that, as per an initial probe, the victim had gone to the construction company to collect waste material on Friday morning. In the evening, she was found dead with multiple injuries, including head injuries. A post-mortem examination revealed that she was raped before being murdered.
The police suspect the murder may have been committed by someone known to the victim. They are questioning the construction workers and others who may have been in the area at the time of the murder. The police said that the victimās husband is serving a life sentence in a murder case and she has been taking care of the children. The police said that the victim went missing for a while, prompting the family members to file a missing person report on August 24.
The police are yet to identify the accused responsible for the rape and murder. They are appealing to the public for any information that could help them with the investigation.
Responding to the incident, Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana, expressed profound anguish upon being apprised of the rape and murder of a woman in Nanakramguda, falling within the limits of the Gachibowli Police Station under the purview of the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
The governor directed for a comprehensive report regarding the incident from the chief secretary, the director general of police, and the commissioner of police, Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, within 48 hours.
