For the record, Hyderabad has earned the rare honor of housing India’s longest musical floating fountain. Situated at Hussain Sagar Lake, the 180 X 10 meters fountain has been established by Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA).
The mountain was inaugurated by Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi.
The fountain is synchronized with different genres of music. The fountain show 20 minutes will be held three times every day. It will be operated from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm every day. On weekends and government holidays, the show will be held four times in the evening.
About Musical Fountain:
-It is the largest floating musical fountain in India.
-The musical fountain 180m long, 10m wide, and 90m high at Hussain Sagar Lake near NTR Marg was built at a cost of Rs.17.02 crore.
-The fountain will have three sets of lasers to showcase various themes.
-The fountain has fog to create a cloud effect along with music, 800 jet high-powered nozzles, and 880 underwater LED lights.
- All nozzles and jets of the fountain are programmed by the DMX controller and synchronized with the music.
-The spray height of the chasing nozzles ranges from 12 m to 45 m, while the central jet is the tallest jet with a spray height of 90 m.
-The fountain has for 20 minutes three times every day from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and four times on weekends.
