Yellow Lamborghini set on fire in Hyderabad amid financial dispute

Hyderabad: A yellow Lamborghini, worth more than Rs 4 crores, was set ablaze on a road in Pahadishareef after a dispute between friends escalated.

According to the complainant Aman Hyder, one of his friends Iyan met him two days ago and informed him that his friend Neeraj’s Lamborghini had been put up for sale.

After Aman Hyder told this to his friend Ahmed, on April 13, Ahmed called him about unidentified persons interested in buying the car. Ahmed asked him to come to the farmhouse in Mamidipalli and told him to come there in the car. The same was conveyed to Iyan through Aman.

At about 5 pm, Aman and his friend Hamdan went to Jalapalli, from where the car was being driven by Hamdan. Ahmed called them and asked them to stop a little ahead of the Vivekananda statue in Mamidipalli towards Shamshabad.

“When we went there and parked the car on the side of the road, Ahmed and others came on two vehicles and asked them about Neeraj. When he found out that Neeraj was not with us, an argument began and escalated and Ahmed poured petrol over the Lamborghini and set it on fire,” Aman said in the complaint.

According to Aman, Ahmed set the car on fire to take revenge on Neeraj who owes Ahmed money but has been making excuses instead of paying back. A case has been registered.
