Yoga room, Gym, Helipad: Check out features of TS police's command and control center

Hyderabad: The stage is all set for commissioning the state-of-the-art Integrated command and control center (ICCC) of the Telangana Police.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will inaugurate the Centre today.

"This is an environmentally friendly 'green' building. A major part of the building has been constructed with the help of recycled material and no wood has been used," said Hyderabad City Police Commissioner C V Anand.

He said the building is equipped with solar panels that will generate 0.5 Mega Watt of power. An environment-friendly STP has also been equipped on the premises.

"Fourteenth and 15th floors will house a museum showcasing the history of Telangana Police and a 360-degree viewing gallery," C V Anand said.

The building is divided into five towers. Tower A will have 20 floors and house Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate.

Tower B will have 15 stories and will be called Technology Fusion. It will have backups relating to Dial-100. SHE safety, cyber and narcotics crimes, incubation center, etc.

Tower C is an auditorium with a capacity of 480. Tower D will be the Media and Training center.

Tower E will house Command Control and Data Centre. The entire 4th, 5th, and 6th floors will be dedicated to this center. It will be a one-stop center for multi-department coordination, CCTVs monitoring, War Room & receiving room.

The new command and control center also has a helipad on top for emergency operations.

The total area of the building is 6.42 lakh square feet. 35% of the land area has been used for plantation. The total height of the building is 83.5 meters.

The building will also house a residential health center with a yoga room, gym, and wellness center.

The Commissioner called the new facility r a fusion center where multiple departments will function. He said that the police officers will shift there as soon as possible.
