Traffic police flag flood risk on NH-65
The Miyapur Traffic Division police raised a major concern regarding persistent waterlogging along stretches of NH-65 in the BHEL–Ramachandrapuram belt.
In their complaint, they noted that despite the National Highways Authority constructing stormwater drains on both sides of the highway, the absence of proper outlet systems has led to water stagnation at 13 locations.
Officials warned that the issue could severely disrupt traffic movement during the monsoon season if not addressed promptly.
Layout encroachment allegations in Beeramguda
Representatives of the Industrial Employees Cooperative House Building Society lodged a complaint over alleged encroachments in their layout located in survey numbers 996 and 997 in Beeramguda village, Ameenpur mandal.
They alleged that portions of the layout, originally developed in 1982 across 180 acres with around 1,650 plots, are being illegally occupied and sold in parcels of 100 square yards each.
The society further claimed that another 30-acre layout under its name is also being misused and sold as a separate venture. They urged authorities to safeguard designated parks and roads within both layouts.

Residents of JJ Nagar in Ammuguda, under Kapra Municipality in Medchal–Malkajgiri district, complained of frequent flooding caused by excessive inflow from upstream areas. They requested expansion of existing stormwater drains to prevent inundation of residential colonies.
Plea to fix FTL of Raviryala Pedda Cheruvu
Plot owners in Sardarnagar, Maheshwaram mandal of Ranga Reddy district, appealed to authorities to immediately determine the Full Tank Level (FTL) of Raviryala Pedda Cheruvu. They highlighted that the lake overflows every year, inundating nearby layouts, and called for urgent preventive measures.
42 Complaints received, officials Act
