India beat Westindies 2-0 to clinch series, Virat Kohli named Man of the series

In a rain-affected game that was shortened to 35-overs a side, Westindies managed to score 240 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. India was given a revised target of 255 in 35 overs to win the match and series by 2-0. India chased down the target with 15 balls to spare and won the series 2-0.
Virat Kohli was adjudged the man of the match for his match-winning century of 114(99) . He hit 14 fours in his innings of 114. He was also awarded the man of the series award for his consecutive hundreds in two matches which helped India win the series 2-0. Chris gayle top-scored for the windies with a quickfire 71(42). Khaleel Ahmed was the pick of the bowlers for India as he picked three wickets.
Westindies were off to a blistering start as they scored 114 of their first ten overs. Later on, the Indian bowlers bowled in right areas as they restricted the windies to 240-7.
India will now take on the windies for a two-match test series which will also mark India’s beginning in the World test championship.
