Indigo airline staffer seriously injured in road accident
By Newsmeter Network Published on 9 Oct 2019 3:24 PM GMTHyderabad: An Indigo airlines staffer was injured in an accident near the Rajiv Gandhi International airport in Hyderabad on Wednesday morning.
The victim was identified as 23-year-old G. Dinesh Reddy a resident of Shamshabad and works as a ground staff catering officer with the Indigo Airlines at the RGI airport.
On Wednesday morning, Dinesh was on his way to work to the airport, when midway he lost control of his bike and crashed into a car in front of him. As a result, he was thrown off from his bike and landed on the road a few meters away. He sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to the Apollo Hospital at the airport. Though he had a helmet, he had not worn it. Had he worn the helmet the impact of the accident would have minimised.
Police said his condition is critical and is being monitored by a team of doctors.
