IPS B Srinivasulu is the new Police Commissioner Vijayawada; 17 top cops re-shuffled in AP

Vijayawada: In a minor reshuffle of IPS officers, the state government transferred 17 officers and posted them at different positions and places. As per the GO issued on Saturday, Ch. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao , 1989 batch IPS officer, currently working as Commissioner of Vijayawada city, was transferred and posted as Director General of Police, Railways in the existing vacancy.

B Srinivasulu, working as Additional Commissioner of Police in Vijayawada city was transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Vijayawada city.

Another senior IPS officer N. Balasubramanyam, a 1994 batch officer, additional DGP, Railways (who is on long leave) was posted as Additional DGP, Organization, in the existing vacancy.

Kripanand Tripathi Ujela, Additional DGP, who has been waiting for posting, was posted as Additional DGP, Road Safety, in the existing vacancy.

P.H.D. Ramakrishna, DIG (Admn), DGP Office and in-charge SP, Guntur Urban, was transferred and posted as director, Special Enforcement Bureau ( SEB), in the existing vacancy (erstwhile director, Prohibition and Excise).

R.N. Ammi Reddy, currently working as SP, Srikakulam, was transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police , Guntur Urban, in the existing vacancy.A 2014 batch IPS officer, Amit Bardar, Commandant of 3rd Battalion APSP, Kakinada, was transferred and posted as SP, Srikakulam.

Udaya Bhaskar Billa, Deputy Commissioner of Police- South Zone (law and order) in Visakhapatnam city was transferred and posted as AIG, Admin, in the DGP Office. Aishwarya Rastogi (a 2013 batch IPS officer), was transferred from the DIG office and posted as DCP- North Zone, Visakhapatnam city.

On transfer, DCP- North Zone, Visakhapatnam city S. Ranga Reddy, IPS, was directed to report at the police headquarters, Mangalagiri. Superintendent of Police, Visakha Rural, Babujee Attada, ( a 2011 batch IPS officer ) was transferred and posted as SP, Special Investigation Branch ( SIB), in the existing vacancy.

B. Krishna Rao, a 2014 batch IPS officer, and working as Commandant, 6th Batallaion APSP, Mangalagiri, was transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Visakhapatnam Rural.Ch. Vijaya Rao, (2010 batch ), Superintendent of Police, Guntur Rural, was transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Railways, Vijayawada.

On transfer, K. Narayana Naik, was posted as Superintendent of Police, West Godavari. Similarly, Grewal Navdeep Singh was posted as Superintendent of Police (CID) in the existing vacancy. Vishal Gunni, a 2010 batch IPS officer, and working as SP of OCTOPUS, was transferred and posted as SP, Guntur Rural.

M. Deepika, special officer at DISHA in the DGP office, was placed on FAC of the post of Commandant, 6th Batallion APSP, Mangalagiri, until further orders.
