Hyderabad: It was earlier reported that actress Samantha Akkineni is all set to appear in an upcoming web-series. It appears that the industry's most trending heroine, Kajal Agarwal is following the same path as that of Samantha Akkineni.

As per sources, Kajal Agarwal will be acting in a web series soon. This web series is to be directed by Venkat Prabhu, who is a well-known Tamil director. It is believed that pre-production work for the series is already wrapped up and the actress joined the shoot yesterday.

OTT platform, Hotstar is to feature this upcoming web series. It is reported that director Venkat Prabhu of Chennai 28 and Mankatha fame has decided to shoot the web series in ten episodes. More details will be officially announced soon.

Kajal Agarwal who appeared in Ranarangam alongside Sharwanand recently seems a bit worried about not getting many roles in movies. In this context, to appear in a web series is indeed a good move to boost her career.
