JEE-Mains, NEET exam to be conducted in July

Hyderabad: The Union Minister of Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced fresh dates of JEE (Main) and NEET-2020 on Tuesday. In a live interaction with students, the minister informed that the JEE-Mains will be held between July 18, 2020 and July 23, 2020. The NEET is likely to be held on July 26, 2020.

According to the HRD Minister, about 17 lakh students would be appearing for NEET in 2020. These competitive exams which were scheduled to be held in April and May got postponed due to nation-wide lockdown, in view of coronavirus pandemic.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue notification with the fresh exam schedule for JEE Main, NEET dates, on its official website nta.ac.in. The minister also informed that exam dates of CBSE Classes X-XII will be announced soon.

On Tuesday, Pokhriyal interacted with students from his Twitter handle where he announced the fresh dates for the JEE Main and NEET. Several students tweeted their queries during the live interaction.
