By Newsmeter Network Published on 20 Aug 2020 7:34 PM ISTHyderabad: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTU) has announced that it will conduct the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) 2020 on 31 August.
This comes after the Telangana state education board recently announced the tentative dates for multiple entrance exams, including EAMCET and ECET. JNTU will conduct TS ECET on behalf of the Telangana state council of higher education.
The exam will be conducted in two sessions, morning and afternoon, through online mode. The university said that adherence to all COVID-19 related guidelines will be maintained during the test.
The exam will be held in 52 centres in Telangana and four centres in Andhra Pradesh. Training will also be provided to candidates from rural areas to familiarise them with computer-based tests.
While the dates for the test are tentative, students can download fresh admit cards for these dates from the official TS ECET website.
During a meeting conducted by higher officials at the Telangana department of education on 10 August, it was suggested that EAMCET be conducted in September and ECET towards the end of August.
