#JusticeForSubhashree: Actors Vijay and Kamal Hassan shares concerns

Chennai: 23-year-old techie Subhashree Ravi was ran over by a truck, after an illegal banner fell on her and knocked her down in Chennai on September 12. A week after her demise, politicians still make a beeline to her house in Chromepet to console her parents. Cases were filed in Madras High Court, and the judges passed strict observations on the cutout culture among politicians.

DMK President Stalin said, “I met Subhashree’s parents and conveyed my condolences. Subhasri’s father told me that his daughter should be the last victim of this banner culture. I cannot forget those words wholeheartedly.”

Interestingly #JusticeForSubhashree still trends in social media. Makkal Needhi Maiam President Kamal Haasan and actor Vijay have called for the justice of the techie. Speaking at the audio launch of his upcoming project, Bigil, on Thursday, Vijay said, “It was sad to read about Subhashree’s death. Wonder why the banner maker and lorry driver were arrested while the main culprit is still untouched.” Kamal Haasan endorsed actor Vijay’s remarks on the matter. Now, angry netizens are still trending #JusticeForSubhashree seeking justice for her death.
