Will Kavin leave Bigg Boss 3 as family get jail for fraud

Hyderabad: A court in Trichy has sentenced Bigg Boss Tamil 3 contestant Kavin’s mother, grandmother and aunt to five years imprisonment in a chit fund cheating case. Once Kavin is informed, he will be given the option to step out of the show. Remember, Saravanan was asked to leave the show mid-way for his alleged comments about groping on a bus.

On Thursday, a court in Trichy gave orders against Kavin's family after finding them guilty of cheating 29 depositors by collecting money through their unregistered chit fund company.

Kavin’s mother A. Rajalakshmi, grandmother A. Thamayanthi and aunt S. Rani have been lodged in Trichy Central Prison after the verdict.

In a complaint lodged with the economic offences wing of the Trichy police in 2007, depositors stated that the trio had collected Rs 32.28 lakh from 29 people. However, after the maturity period, they had not returned the money. A case was filed, and the trio was arrested.

For those who watch the show regularly, Kavin had made an indirect mention of the incident in the earlier weeks. He had said that his family is in deep financial crisis and he has to bail them out.

Kavin was the talk of the town after his onscreen romance with Sakshi inside the house in the first few weeks and now for his affair with Losliya, another contestant.

According to the latest news reports Kavin has left the house.
