Ketika Sharma lands role in Sukumar’s next starring Naga Shaurya

Hyderabad: Ketika Sharma, the new actress on the block, is already making headlines. She is making her Tollywood debut with Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Romantic’ alongside the director’s son Akash Puri. The movie is his home production and is set to release this summer, although the date is yet to be announced. However, even before her debut movie hits the screens, she has already landed another big project with a popular director/producer.

Ketika has been roped in to play the female lead in Sukumar’s upcoming movie starring Naga Shaurya. It will be directed by Kasi Vishal and bankrolled by Sharat Marar and Sukumar. As of now, we have no details of the film other than that it will be a romantic entertainer. While Ketika might be new to the celluloid world, the influencer is a familiar face on YouTube and Instagram. The Delhi beauty is known for her dance, fitness videos, and style statements. She has 1.7 million followers on Instagram and is popular on Snapchat, too. She has also featured in a couple of ads, including one with Allu Arjun for his family-owned digital streaming app. A special set was erected in Ramoji Film City for the ad which was directed by Trivikram.

We will see the Pantaloons ad actor on the big screen this summer with ‘Romantic’. In fact, the movie trailer has 2.2 million views on YouTube. The movie is directed by Anil Paduri and the music is composed by Sunil Kasyap. Bankrolled by Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur under the banner Puri Connects, the film is said to be a romantic thriller.
