Kidnapped toddler rescued by Cyberabad police at Shamshabad

As soon as the kidnap was reported, the police formed special teams, swung into action and traced the child in less than two hours. Further the alleged kidnapper, Sandeep, who works as an auto-driver, was also nabbed.
According to police, the child Symphyās parents have migrated to the city and are working at a cement brick making unit at Tondupally of Shamshabad. On Thursday morning, when the childās parents were busy at work in the brick making process, the child was playing at their hut. In the process, she walked out of the site and reached the main road.
As the place is very close to the Hyderabad Bengaluru NH 44, she was walking towards the road. An auto driver passing by noticed the child walking towards the highway, stopped his vehicle and picked her in his vehicle.
After some time, her parents noticed that she was missing and started searching for her. As there was no result, they reported to Shamshabad police of Cyberabad commissionerate. Police launched a massive search operation with more than five special teams. Other wings of Cyberabad police were also roped into. Further analysis of CCTVs and other clues indicated that an auto driver picked the child and travelled towards Shamshabad town. Based on the clue, the vehicle and the driver were traced and the child was also rescued. Police booked a kidnap case against the auto driver Sandeep and detained him. Further investigation is underway, they said.
