Krishna Vamsi has a new job for Prakash Raj on the sets of Rangamarthanda

Every time director Krishna Vamsi makes a film, it is sure that Prakash Raj is going to be there in it, being the backbone of the story. Such thick friends they are. One of the best films the duo has made together is Antahpuram, which was released in 1998. So it is known that the films they have made together are crazy and once again, this crazy combination has come together for Rangamarthanda, which went on floors recently.

Vamsi shared a video of the sets of the film on his social media accounts and wrote, “New assistant director of my team…god bless him.” (sic)

Fans were wondering who the guy is and after watching the video, it is understood that it is none other than Prakash Raj who was assisting Vamsi’s team on the sets. Prakash Raj was seen holding frame and helping the team in setting them right.

Meanwhile, the news is that the director has teamed up with maestro Illayaraja to compose tunes for this film. The duo had earlier collaborated for Anthapuram. So once again, fans of the duo are super excited about this good news.

Apart from the lead actors, Ranga Marthanda features in the ensemble star cast which includes legendary comedian Brahmanandam in a heart-squeezing role. Speculations are rife that Anasuya Bharadwaj, Ali Reza, Rahul Sipligunj and Shivathmika Rajasekhar are essaying crucial roles in the film.

Rangamarthanda is an official remake of Marathi super hit film Natsamrat and is about a retired artist who finds it difficult to let go of his fond memories of the theatre and his career. Prakash Raj will be seen playing the role reprised by Nana Patekar and Ramya will be seen in the role of Medha Manjrekar. The film will be produced by Abhishek Jawkar and Madhu Kalipu.
