KVs announce mass promotion for students from Class I to VIII

Hyderabad: For the first time in history, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) decided to give mass promotion to all the students from Classes I to VIII
According to the Joint Commissioner, the students are promoted to the next higher class and their verification of fees can be paid on UBI portal accordingly before March 31, 2020.
The KV authorities have promoted Class I and Class II students to the next higher class based on their performance in monthly achievement tests conducted during the academic session 2019-2020.
The students of Class III to VIII are promoted to the next higher class by awarding weightage to the subjects.
The students of Class I to VIII who got 'E' grade in the final result may also be promoted to the next higher class without any improvement test.
The students of class I to VIII who were absent on medical grounds will also be promoted to the next higher class. The results of Class-I to VIII will be communicated to the parents and guardians through emails, WhatsApp and SMS.
Joint Commissioner E Prabhakar has requested Deputy Commissioner of KVs to pass on the necessary directions and information to all the schools in the country.
