`Fashion ka hai yeh jalwa: The Colosseums Curated Corridors takes wardrobe styling to next level

Hyderabad: Luxury today is no longer about a single category. It is about how interiors, fashion, art, and personal expression intersect. The Colosseum, India’s largest luxury home interiors destination, explored that idea in its latest edition of Curated Corridors, this time focusing on wardrobe styling as an extension of home and lifestyle.

Wardrobes as Statements

In most homes, wardrobes are treated as storage. At The Colosseum, they were presented as curated spaces, designed not just for function, but for style. Darshana Tulshan, Managing Director at The Colosseum, framed it simply:

“Wardrobe styling is an extension of home styling. Our luxury wardrobes are designed not just for storage but to become statements of taste and elegance.”

To bring that vision alive, stylist Divisha Khaitan, founder of Cheese & Chase, led a workshop on personal styling. She reflected on the unusual setting:

“The Colosseum is unlike anything else in India; it is a true destination where fashion, interiors, and lifestyle merge. Wardrobe styling here felt natural, because The Colosseum itself embodies style and storytelling in every corner.”

A Larger Idea of Luxury

The Colosseum has been hosting Curated Corridors as a monthly experiment, a way to show that interiors are not isolated from the larger culture of living. Director Akshay explained the thinking:

“Curated Corridors has always been about pushing boundaries, about showing that luxury is not confined to furniture and interiors but extends into every facet of life. The Colosseum is not just a store; it is a canvas for luxury experiences.”

Fashion, Jewellery, and Pop Art Under One Roof

The evening extended beyond wardrobes. Guests could move between pop-ups that layered different expressions of style.

• Hypekicks, founded by Rishi, brought in exclusive sneakers, belts, and bags.

“Our pop-up allowed guests to explore luxury streetwear alongside timeless interiors, a powerful combination.”

• Sheetal Zaveri by Vithaldas showcased sterling silver jewellery handcrafted in Hyderabad.

“Jewellery isn’t merely an accessory; it carries heritage, craftsmanship, and personality,” said founder Sheetal Zaveri.

• Love From Home, rooted in Jaipur’s craft traditions, offered a complementary take.

“Jewellery is not just an adornment but an extension of one’s personal story,” co-founder Riya explained.

• The Design Era Pop Up, in collaboration with The Designera, filled a corridor with vibrant pop art from more than 150 emerging artists, including works from their Privé collection.

Together, the mix created an experience closer to a cultural fair than a showroom event.

The Lifestyle Lens

By positioning wardrobes, fashion, art, and accessories in dialogue with each other, Curated Corridors suggested that luxury living today is about coherence. It is not enough to buy a statement sofa or a couture dress; the real appeal lies in how spaces, wardrobes, and personal style come together to tell a story.

That layering is what keeps The Colosseum’s monthly series relevant to its audience of architects, designers, and high-net-worth individuals. As Tulshan put it, the wardrobe edit was less about storage and more about identity, a reflection of who you are, shaped by the objects and choices you live with.
