Hyderabad: An exhilarating celebration of pop culture was witnessed at Maruti Suzuki Arena Hyderabad Comic Con powered by Crunchyroll. Actor Rana Daggubati's geeky persona captivated the audience.

The event, held at the Hitex Exhibition Center on January 27th and 28th, 2024, featured the launch of Amar Chitra Kathaā€™s collection of mythological stories, 'Devas,' with a lively quiz led by the Rana Naidu actor.

Daggubati, known for his charismatic presence, engaged with fans and pop-culture enthusiasts on stage. His interaction extended to a super fun meet & greet session at the Amar Chitra Katha special booth, creating memorable moments for attendees.

Addressing the crowd, Daggubati expressed his enthusiasm for being a part of Amar Chitra Katha, acknowledging the significant role the iconic comic series played for English-speaking readers in India.

He said: ā€œEven before I was a part of commercial cinema, I was attracted to storytelling. It is wonderful to have a bank of such stories, and I am glad to be a part of this through Amar Chitra Katha, especially here at Comic Con India. It is beautiful to be able to save these stories in the form of a cartoon and carry them forward for generations to come.ā€




Hyderabad Comic Con 2024 showcased a stellar lineup, including Indiaā€™s prominent comic and anime enthusiasts such as Crunchyroll, Hallubol, Cinemics, Sufi Comics, and distinguished artists like Sanjay Gupta from Raj Comics, Savio Mascarenhas from Tinkle Comics, and international artist Rico Renzi.

Maruti Suzuki Arenaā€™s Hyderabad Comic Con, powered by Crunchyroll, set the stage for the upcoming Chennai Comic Con scheduled for February 17th and 18th, 2024, followed by the highly anticipated Mumbai Comic Con.

The event not only provided a platform for fans to immerse themselves in the world of comics and pop culture but also celebrated the timeless charm of Amar Chitra Katha's mythological tales.
