Mexicana Mocktail to Cherry Pepper Prawns: Come, try sensory feast at Hyderabad’s Cara Cara

Hyderabad: A panoramic view of the city and a delightful meal is a luxury that few can resist. Cara Cara, the newly opened bar café on the eighth floor of Hotel Daspalla, offers precisely that—a sensory feast. The establishment, with its tropical ambiance, greenery, and chic wooden interiors, provides a relaxing setting for lunch, brunch, and nighttime revelries.

Cara Cara's unique concept centers around a `two fingers and one bite’ meal style, reminiscent of tapas, where small plate appetizers combine to create a full and diverse dining experience. The menu boasts an extensive selection of soups, salads, dim sums, sushis, sides, noodles, small and big plates, as well as drinks and desserts. For larger gatherings, party packages combining food and drinks are available.

Mexicana Mocktail, a refreshing blend of lime, agave, and grapefruit, sets the tone for an invigorating dining experience. The Ginger Chicken Chestnut Dimsum, a delightful combination of succulent filling and sweet nutty chestnut, showcases the culinary excellence of Cara Cara from the outset.

The small plates offer a diverse range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, including soybean, okra, wild mushroom, miso broccoli, lamb, fish, and prawn. Notable mentions include the Cherry Pepper Prawns, featuring umami notes and a tongue-tingling spice level, and the 5-Spice Jackfruit Bao, a unique and flavorful choice.

Head Chef Gurmehar Sethi, a Delhi native, presents his signature dish—the Old Delhi 'Better' Chicken. The charcoal-roasted, boneless chicken bathed in a rich, sweet-savory tomato and pepper gravy delivers a satisfying culinary experience. Paired with flaky Kerala Parotta, each bite becomes a journey through layers of flavor.

In the words of the culinary team, Cara Cara aims to offer a dining experience that is "two fingers and one bite" but leaves a lasting impression. With its inviting ambiance, diverse menu, and culinary expertise, Cara Cara promises to be a noteworthy addition to the city's dining scene.
