Here is a list of a few urban forest parks in Telangana that have become attractive destinations for visitors to relax, rest and reset.
1. Mayuri Haritha Vanam, Mahbubnagar

Located between Mahabubnagar and Jadcherla highway, Mayuri Haritha Vanam is one of the largest Eco-Tourism Parks in the state. Butterfly garden, rose garden, landscape garden, herbal garden, Astro garden, macaw bird enclosure, currency park, outdoor gym, flag point, nature interpretation center, walkers paths are some of the attractions. Some adventure activities including zip line, commando tower, bamboo bridge, wall climbing, hanging tyre bridge, net climbing, ladder climbing, rifle shooting, and archery make it truly a fun-filled place.
It is open from 09:30 am to 06:30 pm.

2. Bhagyanagar Nandanavanam

Located at the Ghatkesar Mandal, on Hyderabad-Warangal road in Medchal District, the park is a visual treat for nature lovers. It is filled with walking paths, forest trails and is a perfect destination for nature walks. A walking track, cycle track, children's play area, yoga shed, canopy walkway, and a watchtower are some of the attractions. One can even spot deer and peacocks in the park.
It is open from 5: 30 am to 9 am for walkers and from 11.00 AM to 6.00 PM for visitors.

3. Gandharivanam

Located in the outskirts of Thimmapur village, Mandamarri Mandal, this park is the perfect place to spend time with families. The Urban Park is a hub of Biodiversity with 500 varieties of plant species. Hundreds of people across the state and neighboring states come to visit.
It is open from 10:00 am to 09:00 pm.

4. Prasanthi Vanam Park

Located on Dulapally ā Bahadurpally Road, this park is stretched over 25 acres and is filled with medicinal & flower plantations. The species include Marri, Raavi, Peltophorum, Usiri, Chinta, Bamboo, Nemalinara, Seethaphal, etc. The park also has a walking track, children's play area, and a yoga shed.
It is open from 5.30 AM to 9.00 AM for walkers and 1100 to 600 pm for visitors.

5. Shanthivanam Park

Located in the Medipally Mandal, on Chengicherla road in Medchal District, the park has major species like Vepa, Kanuga, Rela, Nemalinara, Subabul. The park has a walking track, herbal garden, play area, open-air gym, gazebo, watchtower, and a yoga shed
It is open from 5.30 AM to 9.00 AM for walkers and 11;00 to 6:00 pm for visitors.

6. Kandlakoya Oxygen Park

Located on National Highway 44 near Medchal, the park is home to major species like Marri, Raavi, Peltophorum, Usiri, Chinta, Bamboo, Nemalinara, Seethaphal, etc. It has a herbal garden, open-air gym, children's play area, gazebo, watchtower, yoga shed, and photo points.
It is open from 5.30 AM to 9.00 AM for walkers and 11;00 to 6:00 pm for visitors.

7. Panchavati Park

Located in the Domnair Reserve Forest Block of Rangareddy district, the park is an Urban Lung Space that is known for its medicinally important plants. The park is known for its large Peacock population.
