Hyderabad: The Red Bull Soapbox Race is set to thrill Hyderabad on March 3 at Ramanaidu Studios in Film Nagar offering a unique blend of creativity, speed and innovation. Tickets for this exhilarating non-motor racing spectacle are now available on Bookmyshow, promising entertainment and an unforgettable experience.

With 3,300 registrations across India, 30 shortlisted teams are geared up to navigate their custom-built soapbox vehicles down the slopes of Ramanaidu Studios in Film Nagar, Hyderabad.

Complete F1 race experience

“The soapbox race, a competitive downhill event, is all about enjoyment, with speeds reaching up to 40-50 km/h on narrow stretches. The judging criteria include craft creativity, showmanship, team stage performance, and race time” said a Red Bull representative.

“The third edition of Red Bull Soapbox Race in India, as promised, will be crazier than before. The winning team not only claims bragging rights but also earns a fully paid Red Bull Racing F1 experience,” organisers stated, urging audiences to secure their tickets.

Scheduled to commence at 5 pm onwards, this year’s event boasts hosts like Aaditya Kulshreshth, Rohan Joshi, Sahiba Bali, and Jordindian. Judges include chess player Tania Sachdev, Indian hockey player Manpreet Singh, hockey prodigy Lalremsiami, and Dakar Rally 2 champion Harith Noah. Popular creators like S8UL gaming, Godlike Gaming, Techno Gamerz, Jose Covaco, Zerxes, and Art Guy Rob will showcase their soapbox creations.

Watch race on JioTV

For those unable to attend, JioTV will broadcast the event live, ensuring viewers don’t miss the high-octane action. The Red Bull Soapbox Race, born in Brussels in 2000, has since travelled the globe, showcasing creativity in non-motor racing.

“The 2012 and 2016 Mumbai editions set the stage for remarkable vehicles and crowd acknowledgement, hinting at the excitement Hyderabad can expect,” concluded the representative.
