Hyderabad: In the bustling city of Hyderabad, culinary enthusiasts now have a reason to rejoice as The Globe Grub, a celebrated buffet restaurant, spreads its culinary wings with a new outlet in Jubilee Hills, following its initial venture in Gachibowli.

The brainchild of hardcore foodie Puneet Kalra and his wife Khushboo, this gastronomic haven caters to diverse taste preferences with a lineup of 80-plus flavours spanning Chinese, Indian, Italian, Continental, and local dishes with Nawabi twists.

Tradition meets future aesthetics

The restaurantā€™s ambience seamlessly blends tradition and modernity, with chairs and sofas showcasing traditional cane work, walls adorned in bottle green and grey hues exuding sophistication, and vibrant green plants enhancing the aesthetic appeal. Chandelier-style lamps create a welcoming atmosphere, complementing the traditional buffet setup.

A live counter at the center of the room adds an interactive touch, with culinary professionals skilfully crafting dishes with raw ingredients, providing a unique experience for food enthusiasts. The restaurantā€™s ambience received praise from visitors, who described it as ā€˜classy and contemporary.ā€™

Soulful Hyderabadi flavours

The gastronomic journey commenced with flavourful appetisers, such as the Hyderabadi Paneer Tikka, Hare Matar ki Shammi, Corn Salt and Pepper, Onion Rings, and Cajun Spice Potato. A vegetarian twist to Galawat Kebabs, the Mushroom Galawat, is impressed with finely minced mushrooms capturing the dishā€™s authentic flavours.

Non-vegetarian delights included Mutton Rampuri Seekh, Murgh Chettinad Tikka, and Dum ki Machi Patre Wali, showcasing a variety of regional flavours. The main course featured Dal Makhani, Aloo Gobi Sunehere Wale, Stir Fry Vegetables, Baked vegetables, Veg Sanghai Noodles, Sarson ka Saag, Butter Chicken, Hyderabadi Veg Dum Biryani, and Murgh Dum Biryani, leaving guests thoroughly satisfied.

Stylish snacks

The live counter, divided into sections like chaat, pan-Asian snacks, salads, in-house dips, chutneys, and desserts, offered a delightful array. The Mongolian counter promptly served piping hot Prawn Noodles, and the Italian section was impressed with a variety of pastas and pizzas.

Dessert aficionados found a paradise with offerings like Angoori Kala Jamun, Gajar ka Halwa, Shahi Tukda, Kesari Jalebi with Rabdi, Kiwi Pastry, Dark Chocolate Mousse, Lemon Swiss Roll, Dry Carrot Cake, and Cream Caramel. The diverse menu ensures that thereā€™s something for every palate.
