World Photography Day: Come, showcase Telangana’s culture, diversity through your lens at FTCCI contest

Hyderabad: Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) has announced an open photography contest to mark World Photography Day.

FTCII has invited people to showcase the diversity and culture of Telangana through their lens.

Theme and Scope

The contest’s theme is “Explore, Experience, and Exhibit the Spirit of Telangana Tourism.”

Photographers are encouraged to capture various aspects of the state, including heritage, landscapes, architecture, festivals, wildlife, cuisine, and the people, reflecting the spirit of Telangana.

Participation Rules

The competition is open to all, without restrictions on age or profession.

• No entry fee is required

• Participants may submit unlimited entries

• Photos must be in JPEG format and not exceed 1 MB in size

• No filters may be used in the submissions

Each entry should be submitted via the link https://tally.so/r/np2JpB with the subject line:

“Tourism Photography Contest Entry - Your Name”

Entries must include:

• Full name

• Contact number and email ID

• Brief description of the photograph (location, context, etc.)

• A high-resolution JPEG photograph within the size limit

Prizes

Cash prizes will be awarded to winners:

• First Prize: ₹10,000

• Second Prize: ₹7,500

• Third Prize: ₹5,000

• Five Consolation Prizes: ₹1,000 each

Judging Criteria

An expert jury consisting of renowned photographers, tourism professionals, and artists will evaluate submissions.

Entries will be judged on:

• Creativity

• Composition

• Relevance to the theme

• Visual impact
