List of hospitals in Andhra offering free treatment to BPL Covid patients under Aarogyasri released

Andhra Pradesh: The state has announced that COVID-19 will now be included under Dr. YSR Aarogyasri scheme. This has come as a relief for the poor, who, if infected by the virus, can avail free treatment at private hospitals in the state.
The Aarogyasri scheme is a government healthcare setup aimed to provide cashless treatment to people who are below the poverty line. The order for including COVID-19 in the scheme was given on Wednesday, in light of several patients being turned away from private hospitals.
The government has also released a list of the private hospitals that will be offering free treatment for patients suspected/ infected by the Coronavirus.
Hospitals have been divided into three categories, where the first type will only concentrate on COVID patients, the second on COVID and non-COVID patients, and the third only to non-COVID patients. For patients not falling under the Aarogyasri scheme. a fixed cap has been put on the money charged for treatment.
For patients not falling under Aarogyasri scheme, prices have been capped as follows:
1. Mildly symptomatic - Rs. 3,250 per day
2. Patients requring critical care (w/o ICU) - Rs.5,480 per day
3. Patients in ICU with oxygen support - Rs. 5,980 per day
4. Patients in ICU with ventilator - Rs. 9,580 per day
